Abstract
Captain Charles Frost (1630-1697) and Major John Hill (1666-1713) were militia officers responsible for defending Kittery and Saco, Maine under the direction of Massachusetts authorities during King William’s War, 1689-1697.
The collection contains military orders, commissions, and correspondence with scattered Frost, Hill and Pepperell family documents and business papers.
