This collection relates to Captain John Ford (1740-1822), a farmer, mill owner, and soldier during the American Revolution. There are also documents concerning Horatio G. F. Corliss (ca. 1813-1873), an auditor and attorney.

The collection contains military, business and personal papers of the Ford and Corliss families of Chelmsford and Lowell, Massachusetts.

Dates: 1765-1878.
