China Doll
Scope and Contents
A female porcelain doll with stiff cloth body, blonde hair, and blue painted eyes. Doll is dressed (from inner-most to outer-most) in cream-colored pantaloons edged in rick-rack; a short cream chemise (waist-length); nude-colored cotton stockings; a cream window-pane patterned petticoat (with extended hem); dark brown painted cloth shoes with reddish-pink trim and tied laces; a full skirt and sleeved blouse separates of matching striped light- and dark- green silk or faux-silk fabric (the blouse trimmed with dark green cord braid and fastened with metal hook-and-eye); and a cream cordoroy coat decorated with light green curlicues and flaring sleeves.
