Scope and Contents
Contains material on American descendants of the Scotch-Irish Adair family followed by some census records. There are also genealogical notes, 1418-1976, on allied families, many of whom are from Connecticut. Includes a small group of letters to Richard and Leo Adair, 1934-1974. Although most of the letters concern genealogical matters, some of the correspondence is from libraries acknowledging the donation of Leo's book.

Biographical / Historical
Leo Adair, of Santa Paula, CA, and Richard Adair, of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, corresponded between 1969 and 1974, collecting and sharing material on the Adair family. In 1974, Leo Adair published The Adair Family.
